Pastor Lovisa Almén of Betlehemskyrkan in Göteborg faced a hate storm after sharing her views on equality on social media. She posted an Instagram clip expressing support for LGBTQ people, cohabitation, and female leadership. ' Almén also received many private messages with pure hate.
She stated that hearing dark stories about church members criticizing LGBTQ individuals motivated her to post the clip. Professor Joel Halldorf noted that her views are not unusual in the church but rather quite typical.
