Parents and staff at Pysslingens preschool have raised concerns about traffic safety outside the facility, citing high-speed vehicles that pose risks to children. According to Helsingborgs Dagblad, the municipality has responded to the criticism by installing a speed display near the preschool. However, parent Vanessa Vasilije, who has two children at the school, reportedly finds this measure insufficient.
'I still don't understand what's required for a simple warning sign for children,' Vasilije was quoted as saying. The preschool is located near Pålsjö forest, where according to guardians and educators, cars and cyclists often travel at high speeds, creating dangerous conditions for young children who frequently need to cross the road. While Vasilije acknowledges that adults are responsible for helping children cross safely, she notes the practical challenges of supervising multiple children simultaneously.
