On several occasions during the winter, Mälartåg trains to and from Knivsta have been so full that passengers have had to wait for the next departure. This situation has prompted Knivsta municipality to act and convey criticism of the shortcomings experienced by commuters. The criticism has been presented to the train operator, and a dialogue about possible measures is ongoing.
Punctuality is good from Uppsala to Knivsta because trains have just departed and disruptions have not yet had time to occur. In the opposite direction toward Uppsala, punctuality is worse because trains have often traveled far and are affected by disruptions along the way, especially on single-track sections. 1 percent toward Uppsala.
