According to a report from Östersunds-Posten, Duveds skola in Duved, Sweden has recorded 209 cases of abusive treatment in less than a year. The incidents reportedly range from physical violence to social exclusion, with school rector Hans Sandberg acknowledging that "there are a few individual students who appear more frequently" in the reports.

The Swedish Schools Inspectorate (Skolinspektionen) conducted a targeted inspection of the school in the beginning of summer 2025. Following the inspection, the authority required the school to implement several comprehensive improvement measures. Four areas were identified as particularly urgent, with abusive treatment being one of them.
