Jens Bergold Knabe from Örebro is one of ten finalists for the Kompassrosen award, the King's Foundation for Young Leadership scholarship. He has a chance to be honored by the King for his volunteer work with Ung & Punk and Kulturföreningen 019. The award recognizes young leaders who show courage, care, and initiative, with a prize of 50,000 kronor per person.
The recipients will be announced at the end of May at the Royal Palace. Jens started his first record label at age 12 and now runs initiatives to create a living music scene for young people, providing a platform for hundreds of bands and a meeting place in areas with limited cultural offerings.
