Sampo Ranta and Teemu Turunen are nearing returns for Örebro Hockey, according to reports. Ranta last played on December 30 and has been limited to 15 games this season, while Turunen last played on January 17. Both trained fully on Monday.
Head coach Niklas Eriksson reportedly said the team now has 14 forwards ready to play, but they will be integrated carefully due to their long absences. Örebro faces Djurgården at home on Thursday. In other news, William Alftberg of Vimmerby returned to ice training after a lower-body injury in late January, but his debut is reportedly delayed, and he is not ready for tomorrow's match against Södertälje.
Patrik Karlkvist was reportedly absent from Örebro's lineup.
