According to major media reports, the new gym is fully fitted with premium equipment, including plate-loaded machines from Panatta, state-of-the-art cardio kit, free weights, a dedicated functional training space, and saunas. Members will benefit from 24/7 access, flexible zero-contract memberships, no joining fee, and a timetable of classes designed to suit all fitness levels. The Newcastle gym will create 15 new jobs, though the qualifications or backgrounds of the new staff being hired are not specified. Open days took place ahead of launch on Monday 2nd March from 4pm to 7pm and Wednesday 4th March from 11am to 2pm. Paul Pearson, Director at OneGym, stated: "Opening in Eldon Garden is a huge moment for us.
" He added: "This is our 14th site and our third in the last 12 months, which shows the strength of our model. We’re creating 15 new jobs and delivering a premium gym experience right in the heart of Newcastle - high-spec equipment like Panatta, accessible pricing and 24/7 access. " The new site is OneGym's 14th location and its third new opening in the past year.
