A new board has been appointed to lead Sundsvall Logistikpark, the municipally owned logistics park that has been embroiled in a valuation scandal. According to SVT Mittnytt, the previous board resigned after approving a new valuation that reportedly reduced the company's value by 400 million kronor in February. The new leadership team will be presented at Monday's municipal council meeting.
Per-David Wennberg (S) is proposed as the new chairman, bringing experience from leading municipal companies in Ånge. He will be joined by Eva-Britt Persson (S), former chair of Örnsköldsvik's port and logistics company, and Ingemar Rönnäng (C), who previously worked as a lawyer at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. The appointment comes amid an ongoing investigation by the Swedish Economic Crime Authority into serious accounting fraud allegations related to the company's valuation.
