The short film 'August och Kriget' is the third project by filmmakers Leandro Netzell and Samori Tovatt focusing on ordinary people in Blomstermåla, Sweden. The film explores the theme of preparedness and centers on August from Blomstermåla, who wants to fight for his country but cannot do military service due to his diagnoses. Netzell, who grew up in Spain, moved to his mother's family farm outside Blomstermåla in 2021 after completing education at Öland's folk high school documentary film line.
