A 65-year-old Norwegian woman was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident in the Arjeplogsfjällen mountains on Sunday, March 29, 2026. According to SVT Norrbotten, the woman was airlifted by ambulance helicopter to Gällivare hospital where she is being treated in the intensive care unit. The accident occurred in the afternoon between Vouggatjålme and Jäckvik in the Arjeplog mountain area.
