Six men are suspected of serious hunting crimes in Strömsund municipality, Sweden. One of the suspects is a well-known Norwegian TV personality, which has generated significant interest in the trial, including in Norway. According to the prosecutor, the men allegedly hunted and shot a female bear and one of her cubs together and in collusion.
Five of the men are residents of Norway. The suspects deny the crimes. The TV personality stated in police interrogations that he did not shoot any of the bears but took home the cub's skin because none of the other hunters wanted it.
