Norwegian reported a pre-tax loss of 459 million krone in the first quarter, according to media reports. The loss improved from 611 million krone a year earlier, helped by a stronger Norwegian krone and gains from fuel hedging, the airline said.
Chief Executive Geir Karlsen noted that general demand looks good but the company faces a complex market with economic and political uncertainty. The airline did not disclose specific revenue or passenger numbers, and the outlook for the rest of 2025 remains uncertain.
