Norwegian cross-country skier Håvard Moseby has announced his retirement at age 26. He made the announcement on Instagram, writing that it was a difficult decision and that his goals and priorities have changed. Moseby reportedly ended his career after finishing fifth in a 50-kilometer race in Holmenkollen two weeks ago, which was his last World Cup event.
According to his Instagram posts, he will now focus on completing his studies in Trondheim. Moseby's achievements include a third-place finish in a 15-kilometer mass start during the Tour de Ski 2024 and a fifth-place overall in the Tour de Ski 2025.
