Norrmejerier reported its highest-ever profit in the cooperative's history on March 3, 2026, in Luleå, Sweden. The cooperative's result reached a record 51 million kronor, and it also paid the highest compensation to milk farmers in its history. The sale of a Norrmejerier property in Luleå brought in 28 million kronor, making the total result approximately 79 million kronor.
According to a press release from Norrmejerier, the result comes as the milk market enters a more uncertain period with falling global market prices and increasing cost pressures in the food chain. Gerhard Bley, CEO of Norrmejerier, reportedly said the cooperative is entering 2026 significantly stronger than a few years ago.
