The renovated Jungfrun building in Norrköping, Sweden, is nominated for the Kasper Salin Prize. The 152-year-old building, previously known as Mattsons magasin och Andreas kvarn, is one of four nominees, including Campus Tensta in Stockholm, Fyrtornet in Hyllie, and Osprey Farm Studio near Strängnäs. The building has been preserved in the new Inre hamnen district of Norrköping.
According to jury chair Rebecka Engvall, the nominations are seen as recognition and as guides for the future. The prize, awarded by Sveriges Arkitekter, honors architectural quality.
