Niklas Söderberg has signed for Nordic United in Sweden's Superettan. He left Östers IF after last season when the club was relegated to Superettan and did not extend his expiring contract. According to reports, Söderberg had interest from clubs in Iceland, Kazakhstan, Greece, and South Korea, but he did not move abroad.
Nordic United's coach Steven Younan reportedly said the club is glad to have Söderberg, noting they have been tracking him since February and that he will bring experience, leadership, and offensive structure. Younan also reportedly revealed that Nordic United hopes to sign one or two center-backs before the transfer window closes.
