According to major media reports, the games will be held at Veikkaus-areena on Thursday, November 12 and Saturday, November 14. The league also revealed that additional Global Series games will be played in Germany next fall, with Ottawa and Chicago scheduled to face each other twice in Düsseldorf in December. The specific dates in December for those games have not been announced.

Carolina's roster includes longtime star Sebastian Aho and current player Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Seattle has been represented this season by Eeli Tolvanen, Kaapo Kakko, and Jani Nyman. NHL games were last played in Finland in November 2024, when Florida faced Dallas, and in November 2022, when Colorado played Columbus.

Those events took place at Tampere's Nokia-areena. The previous NHL games in Helsinki occurred in November 2018, featuring two matches between Florida and Winnipeg. Carolina last played in Helsinki in the fall of 2010 against Minnesota.

It remains unclear whether the games in Germany are part of the same Global Series season or a separate announcement. Ticket sales and broadcast details for the Helsinki games have not been announced.
