A newly renovated waiting room with new furniture now meets bus and train travelers in Hudiksvall. The property owner and Svenska reseterminaler, which rents the waiting room, have made joint efforts to give the waiting room a lift. The state-owned property company Jernhusen and its subsidiary Svenska reseterminaler AB rent the waiting room from property owner Robert Fredriksson.

Marina Berggren, who manages the waiting room for Svenska reseterminaler, says the vandalism has been extreme and she has not experienced anything like it elsewhere in Sweden. Gustav Fredriksson, who was project manager for the renovation from the property owner, says they hope people will want to take better care of the premises now that it is nicer. Marina Berggren adds that there is increased surveillance on site now, which also enables this investment.
