A new electoral alliance called Enad röst has been formed by the parties Feministerna and Solidaritet. Enad röst plans an 'untraditional' election campaign where every third spot on the parliamentary list is reserved for activists and candidates from other organizations.
The alliance's practical plans for implementing policies like degrowth or a 30-hour work week remain unclear, and its electoral prospects are unknown. Separately, the Communist Party is running in the election in 18 municipalities and one region this autumn, with an electoral alliance with Feministerna for the municipal election in Malmö. On September 13, Malmö residents can vote for the list Feministerna och Kommunisterna, which has Smilla Jalasjoki as its top candidate.
The Communist Party and Feministerna have collaborated extensively, including being driving forces in the Palestine movement. The joint list in Malmö advocates for a municipal boycott of Israel, making Malmö a nuclear-weapon-free zone, banning weapon production in Malmö, and preventing NATO from using Malmö's infrastructure. It also advocates for the municipal housing company MKB to reinvest all profits into its housing and freeze rents, and for Malmö to lead in legislated work-time reduction, such as a six-hour workday, and the right to work for all Malmö residents.
The electoral support for this alliance in Malmö is unknown, and it is unclear how these policies would be funded or if there are internal disagreements.
