Toph Beifong, portrayed by Miya Cech, will appear in Season 2 as a formidable earthbender whose abilities match Aang's, but it is unknown if other new cast members will join.
' The exact plot or main conflict of Season 2 beyond venturing into the Earth Kingdom, as well as how the production scale or budget compares between seasons, has not been disclosed.
Our goal for Season 1 was to introduce the audience to this group of characters that were kids in the middle of a war zone. And [in] Season 2, we take those kids and they grow. But growth is not a straight line. ... They're really trying to figure out who they are.
A fantastic live action adaptation from the anime. Something even die-hards for the original can absolutely appreciate this. Well done! Can't wait for season 2.
The most engaging show I've watched in years. I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for the next two seasons. This live action adaptation really does the original justice and has made me fall in love with this world all over again.
