The model is an old parish hat, though the exact design of the secret pattern remains unknown. According to SVT Nyheter, Anna-Karin Jobs Arnberg described the ambition to collect wool from farms in Dalarna but noted it is acceptable to source from outside the region. According to Dala-Demokraten, she said it is fun that women and popular movements get to come forward.
