Holidaymakers have been left anxious after NATO defences confirmed they intercepted a ballistic missile bound for Turkey. According to the Scottish woman known as Your Lassie in Turkey on TikTok, who recently shared her views after receiving comments from people making assumptions about the conflict in Iran, 'There was an Iranian missile intercepted today. Now, I've read lots of different stories, and different news reports.

' Travel advice has also been given to people travelling from the UK to Turkey, Cyprus, and Greece. The Foreign Office has reportedly changed its advice due to the US-Israeli war on Iran.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office advises against 'all travel to within 10km of the border with Syria due to fighting and a heightened risk of terrorism'. ' Online travel agent, loveholidays, has emailed a customer travelling to Turkey from Glasgow later this month.
