Nearly 200 people have been arrested in a nationwide operation in Turkey following a shooting outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul. The operation targeted the terrorist organization Daesh, also known as the Islamic State, according to a statement from Justice Minister Akin Gurlek. The shooting at the consulate resulted in one person killed and several injured when police intervened.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
