According to local media reports, several moose have entered or are moving near the highway between the Jävre S and Jävre N interchanges in both directions. The warning was issued at 09:48 on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Trafikverket assesses that the incident has limited impact on traffic but reports that road accessibility is restricted. The transport authority estimates that traffic will be affected until Monday at 08:00. Both Kuriren and Piteå-Tidningen reported the incident, noting that drivers should exercise caution in the area.
No accidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the moose presence on the highway.
