Several military vehicles created traffic trouble in Troms on Wednesday evening. Simultaneously, several other military trucks were working to put on chains at Furumoen.

Military police were dispatched to direct traffic. E6 is blocked in both directions, according to the police log. The police have emphasized in several messages on the police log that the roads are slippery.

At 19:30, traffic challenges were reported on County Road 86 at Andsvatnet in Sørreisa, where the road is completely closed by military vehicles that are stuck. E6 is also blocked by a military truck at Setermoen on Bardu, where work is being done to put on chains. A military tanker truck overturned on E6 at Rustahøgda on Bardufoss, with emergency services on the way.

The tanker truck is foreign, according to the police, and it contains aviation fuel with no reported leaks. No personal injuries have been reported in any of the incidents, according to the police log.
