A man in his 50s has died after a drowning accident in Gavleån on Thursday evening, police said. It is unclear how the man ended up in the water. Police have initiated a preliminary investigation into causing another's death. The incident occurred around 19:45, and the man's relatives have been notified.
An earthquake with magnitude 5.7 shook Crete shortly after 03:00 on Friday night, according to Greek City Times. Greek authorities said the epicenter was near the village of Goudouras at a depth of about five kilometers. The tremors were felt over large parts of Crete and on nearby islands. There are currently no reports of any serious damage.
A large number of women have been secretly filmed in Ystad, including during toilet visits and in their homes, Ystads Allehanda reports. A man in his 40s has been charged. The secret filming was discovered when a neighbor saw the man in her surveillance camera, standing in the woman's garden masturbating while filming her through a window. When arrested, police found additional films. He is charged with secret filming of eleven women in Ystad and Stockholm during 2023–2025. Many of the women have not been identified. The man is charged with gross breach of domiciliary peace, sexual molestation, and offensive photography. He has admitted to certain circumstances.
Early on Friday morning, an employee of a store in Kälvesta, Stockholm was robbed of personal belongings just outside the store, police said. The perpetrator struck the person with a pistol-like object. The crime scene has been cordoned off pending a forensic investigation. No suspect has been arrested yet.
