On March 7, mountain rescue saved an injured person in Vålådalen, Åre, Sweden. Police were contacted in the morning about a person who suffered a burn injury during a stay in the mountains. The police duty officer in the North police region decided to initiate mountain rescue according to the law on protection against accidents.
Mountain rescuers were called out, and by around 11:00, it was reported that the injured person was at their car with companions and would seek medical care on their own. The mountain rescuers returned home. The police note that this is initial information and may change.
