Motorola has announced a long-term partnership with the Graphene OS Foundation, according to a report from Swedroid. The collaboration will result in a future Motorola smartphone coming pre-installed with Graphene OS, a security and privacy-focused operating system based on Android's open source code. Graphene OS can operate without Google services or Google Play Services.
Motorola has not specified which upcoming model will feature the operating system initially, but some Graphene OS functions will be integrated into Motorola's interface.
