15am on Wednesday and refused bail to appear in court on Thursday, according to Daily Mail. Police allege she attempted to influence a key witness to change their evidence in the double murder trial. Her son, former senior constable Beau Lamarre-Condon, has pleaded not guilty to shooting dead Jesse Baird, 26, and Luke Davies, 29, in February 2024.
He allegedly bundled the bodies into surfboard bags and dumped them about 180km south-west of Sydney. The bodies were found eight days later. Lamarre-Condon had reportedly briefly dated Baird before Baird began a relationship with Davies.
Deputy Commissioner Dave Hudson provided a timeline: gunshots on Feb 19, van hire, trip to Bungonia, cleaning van in Newcastle, arrest on Feb 23. Neither the female companion nor the former policewoman is accused of wrongdoing. It remains unclear what specific actions Coleen Lamarre took to influence the witness or who that witness is.
