Of total cases where gender was known in 2023/24 in the UK, 81% of children targeted were girls, and the youngest victim was a five-year-old boy. The identity and intent of the stranger who contacted Kellum's daughter remain unknown, as does the prevalence of MAP and similar coded terms across different online platforms globally.
