The supermarket chain has introduced new items such as Roast Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks, Tikka Cooked Chicken Breast Chunks, and Curried Katsu Noodles. New toppings include Moroccan Couscous, Creamy Potato and Pickle Salad, Spiced Mango and Grains Salad, Sliced Pickles, and Salted Tortillas. Other additions include Deli Style Potato Salad, Spicy Chicken Pasta Salad, Tuna and Sweetcorn Pasta, Lightly Dressed Potatoes, Pasta Bows in Green Pesto, and Cheese and Bacon Pasta Salad. New dressings include Caesar Dressing, Ranch Dressing, Honey & Mustard Dressing, and Thousand Island Dressing.
Small salad tubs start from £2.75, medium from £3.75, and the new extra-large Family Salad Tub costs £5.95 and is divided into sections. According to a Morrisons press release, the company sells around 370,000 units of salad bar tubs each week during summer months.
