Defender Michael Jahn has retired from football, according to an announcement from Karlbergs BK via its official channels. Jahn, 30, played seven matches in Ettan Norra last season. He previously played for Djurgårdens IF in 2015 but never debuted in Allsvenskan, moved to Karlbergs BK in 2016, transferred to Västerås SK ahead of 2020, and returned to Karlbergs BK after a year.
In a statement, Jahn said he will continue to visit Stadshagen, and Karlbergs BK is a big part of his life. Oskar Sewerin, the assistant sports director, reportedly thanked Jahn, calling him a role model and captain.
