Police in Linköping arrested two men on Saturday afternoon following reports of a masked man threatening a woman at a shopping center. According to police reports, the incident began around 16:30 when multiple calls came in about a masked man first seen in the University Hospital area, then at Berga centrum. At the shopping center, the man reportedly jumped out of a car and threatened a woman in her 20s.

The two individuals were unknown to each other prior to the incident. Police located and arrested the men in Slaka, south of Linköping. A 30-year-old man was detained on suspicion of aggravated unlawful threats and was remanded in custody by a prosecutor overnight.

Police note that the number of victims may increase as the investigation continues.

A second man, aged 20, was arrested on suspicion of aiding aggravated unlawful threats, drunk driving, and weapons law violations. Johan Helmfrid, a police commander, confirmed that authorities received multiple calls about the masked individual.
