In separate police operations, emergency police conducted laser speed control in a 60 km/h zone on Skorgevikvegen in Vestnes, resulting in fines for eight drivers. The highest speed measured was 73 kilometers per hour. Additionally, emergency police conducted a sobriety check at Nordmørsvegen in Gjemnes, checking 44 drivers.
One driver is suspected of drunk driving and was taken to the emergency room in Kristiansund for blood sample collection.
