A man in his 30s has been sentenced to one and a half years in prison for attacks on staff and guests at a restaurant in central Karlskrona, Sweden. The man, described as a regular at the restaurant, attacked staff in September after believing he had been cheated out of money. Later that same evening, he went to another man to collect an alleged debt and was stopped by police as he was leaving the location with the indebted man's father.

Three weeks later, he attacked several guests at the same restaurant. The man was acquitted of a kidnapping charge, as both the indebted man and his father stated in court that the father went voluntarily.
