A man was taken to hospital after a fight in Araby, Växjö, on Sunday evening. According to police, the man was injured with some form of stabbing weapon. The fight, which police were alerted to late on Sunday evening, involved several people.
The man was found injured at the scene and was conscious when taken to hospital. Police stated that the extent of his injuries was initially unknown but not life-threatening. An area was cordoned off, and the cordon was lifted early on Monday morning.
The incident was initially classified as attempted murder but has now been changed to aggravated assault. No one has been arrested on suspicion of any crime.
