A 35-year-old man from the county has been convicted of sexual harassment and ordered to pay nearly 95,000 kronor in total in day fines and damages. He was found guilty of five cases of sexual harassment against four different women. In addition to day fines of 52,500 kronor, he must pay damages of nearly 40,000 kronor to the women and 1,000 kronor to the Crime Victim Fund.
At the end of 2025, the man sent unwanted images and videos of a sexual nature to the women. One of the women stated that she met the man at a party and they agreed to start a business collaboration. When she was later on vacation, the man suddenly sent several messages unrelated to the collaboration, instead containing sexual content including images of his genitals.
The man has admitted to the acts and cited poor mental health.
