A man died in a ski accident in Åre at the beginning of December. The man, in his 20s, was studying in Åre but was from the Stockholm area. He was skiing in Gästrappet and fell, receiving quick help but could not be saved.
The Swedish National Board of Forensic Medicine's death report shows he died from blunt force trauma causing extensive internal bleeding. The police have now closed their investigation and there is no suspicion of a crime.
