A man in his 40s has been charged with planning to kidnap and sexually assault a woman in Sandviken, according to Swedish authorities. Police reportedly seized an arsenal of items including GPS trackers, knives, sex toys, balaclavas, cameras, chains, handcuffs and a CO2 pistol that were allegedly intended for use in the planned crimes. The man is accused of preparing for months to track, abduct and rape the woman, with authorities stating he conducted extensive online searches related to kidnapping methods.
He now faces charges including preparation for aggravated rape, kidnapping, several cases of sexual harassment and obstruction of justice.
