A man in his 20s from Växjö, Sweden, has been charged with a serious weapons crime. According to the indictment, the man had a loaded pistol that had been used in previous criminal activity. The prosecutor has submitted forensic evidence linking the pistol to prior criminal acts, as well as evidence from the communication app Signal that ties the man to gang crime and a specific alias.
The man denies the crime. Police say he has connections to gang criminal environments.
