A man in his 50s has been charged at Värmland District Court for allegedly making two false child welfare reports to social services against a man and his family. According to the charges, the man claimed that a child was allowed to play daily in a workshop among dangerous objects, pallets, and tires. The reports alleged that the family exposed their children to injury risks and life-threatening situations, which led to a social services investigation.
In one of the reports, the man is also accused of using another person's identity. He now faces charges for two counts of false accusation and unlawful use of identity. The man's position regarding the crimes is reportedly unclear according to the indictment.
In 2023, the same man was sentenced to one year in prison for threatening to rape a female colleague at a previous workplace. The case also reportedly involves connections to Filipstad Municipality, where the man was employed as a substitute teacher through a false reference.
