A man in his 30s from Östersund Municipality has been charged with raping a child on multiple occasions. He is also charged with knifing and threatening to kill a man. The man is suspected of having a sexual relationship with a girl under 15 between 2021 and 2022, leading to charges of child rape.
Evidence includes interrogations, witness statements, photographs, and chat conversations. Additionally, he is charged with assault, aggravated unlawful threats, and aggravated obstruction of justice for knifing, choking, and threatening to kill another man in Östersund Municipality in February this year, and for threatening another man at the same time. The man denies the child rape charges and neither admits nor denies the other charges.
