A man in his 40s was arrested overnight into Sunday in Kiruna following an assault incident, according to local police reports. The arrest occurred after police were called to an address in Kiruna's central area regarding a physical altercation between two men. According to the Norrländska Socialdemokraten, the suspect is identified as Konrad Olsson.
The victim is reportedly a man in his 30s, and the two individuals were acquainted prior to the incident. Police responded to the scene after midnight and subsequently arrested the suspect following an investigation. Multiple people were present at the location during the incident.
The suspect remains in custody and is facing allegations of assault and threats against another individual.
