A man was arrested after an assault in Enköping on February 25. Police were called to central parts of Enköping after the public witnessed an assault. According to information from the public, a man was seen assaulting a woman outdoors.
When patrols arrived at the scene, neither the suspected man nor the woman were present. The man, who is in his 60s, was later identified and arrested after the incident was captured on police cameras and with supplementary information. He was taken to the station for questioning and then contact with the prosecutor.
There is no information that the woman needed to seek medical care after the incident.
