The Malmö Redhawks' season ended on Tuesday night in Malmö, Sweden. Skellefteå advanced to the semifinals after winning the series 4-1 in matches. The Redhawks reached the quarterfinals as a low-budget club and integrated several juniors into the A-team, which sportchef Oscar Alsenfelt reportedly sees as a valuable investment for the future.
Alsenfelt stated he is proud of this. In a large interview after the elimination, Alsenfurt reportedly said that other players are already confirmed for the new team building for the 26/27 season, with more signings promised.
