The incident occurred in a home match against Rögle, which Luleå lost 2-5. Shinnimin was penalized for embellishment during the second period, reportedly after being hooked by Rögle's Calvin De Haan, who also received a penalty.
According to reports, the players safety group reviewed the situation and submitted the report. The disciplinary board will now examine the case, and if they uphold the decision, Shinnimin reportedly faces a fine of 5,000 kronor. Shinnimin has previously been subject to diving-related fines in his career.
