According to Kuriren, the bonuses are targeted at workers taking jobs in villages outside Luleå, with extra payments of 110 kronor per work shift in southern villages and 150 kronor per work shift in northern villages. Over both summer holiday periods, totaling eight weeks, this could amount to an additional 4,400 to 6,000 kronor.
