Forward Lucas Forsell is reportedly in advanced negotiations to move from Färjestad to SHL rival Timrå for the 26/27 season. According to sources cited by Expressen Sport, the 22-year-old is close to an agreement with Timrå, which sees him as a top-nine player with potential for a leading role. Forsell has a contract with Färjestad and recently stated he knew nothing about such a move, but reports indicate he will not remain with the club after Färjestad's quarterfinal exit against Rögle.
Timrå had shown interest earlier, but Färjestad's injury situation previously prevented a transfer.
