The Swedish version of the dating reality show 'Love is Blind' will premiere its third season on March 12, according to a press release from Netflix. Jessica Almenäs is returning as the host for the new season, which features a new group of singles entering the social experiment where couples get engaged without seeing each other. The show involves singles dating in isolated rooms without visual contact; if a proposal is accepted, they meet for the first time and then live together for five weeks to see if the relationship leads to marriage.
The first two seasons of the Swedish version have reportedly won awards for best love reality show at the Kristallen gala for two consecutive years and have attracted many international viewers. The original American version premiered in 2020, and Netflix has produced variants in countries including Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Japan, the UK, Mexico, South Korea, and 'Love is Blind: habibi' with participants from several Arab countries.
