Police in Grästorp responded to multiple emergency calls on Tuesday morning after a group of horses were reported loose on highway 47 between Grästorp and Vara. According to police statements, approximately a handful of horses were running "back and forth across the lanes," creating significant traffic disruptions.
The incident began shortly before 11:00 AM when several motorists called emergency services. Police spokesperson Jennifer Last stated, "They started running toward Vara, but after a while they turned and are running back in the direction of Grästorp. This is causing some traffic impact."
